    Hello,

I followed all the calibration steps and ensured the exterior of the tube was swabbed, but the OD and FP measurements still don’t make sense. For example, in one reading, the OD is 3, and in the next, it drops to 1. I noticed in the hardware manual that Chi.Bio has a lid on top, but mine didn’t come with one in the box. I wonder if that could be causing the issue. Here’s the link to the OD and FP diagrams.

Thanks in advanced for your help,

    Hello,
If you are putting in a clean test tube and it is still jumping around a lot, it might be that the reactor is faulty, i.e. the light source isnt on properly.
WHat is the raw OD0 readings you typically see? If these are <500, likely reactor has a defect. You could ask Labmaker about possibility of fixing this.

The raw OD0 is around 13000.
