    Hi,

Is it possible to get the data via filezilla of an experiment that is still running?

We are doing ALE-experiments, which are taking a long time, obviously. Now we running the chi.bio as a turbidostat, the OD Regulation is switched on. Now the culture reaches the target OD and suddenly the measured OD drops below the target value. I assume that some feed was pumped in at that moment, but I can´t see any pumping in the graph of the pumping rate. My thought now was, could it be that the pump is pumping but it is not showing in the graph? And to make sure it really is not pumping, I wanted to check the data while the experiment is still running (but I don’t want to break it by accident, so I’d rather ask and not just try :))

Thanks a lot and best regards

    Katja

    Hi Katja,

Yes, you can use Filezilla to make copies of the .csv files and transfer them to another computer while it is running to check.
If you are doing a long experiment it might be that it is not showing the pump rate since it was so brief a time – in that case yes I would recommend looking at the csv file to check.

Furthermore I strongly recommend you put the tape in the pump heads as detailed in the troubleshooting manual.
