Does an error log get stored anywhere? I have a reactor/pump set that has given us a hard time during more than one experiment. Yesterday evening, both the GUI and the PuTTY terminal were frozen mid-experiment with an error message relating to pump comms. I didn’t have the good sense to take a picture of the message before restarting the experiment. The experiment restarted without issues, but some time overnight the outlet pump of the problem-pump stopped moving, and its reactor overflowed. The error message I found this morning was from tripping the moisture sensor, and the PuTTY terminal was not frozen. I am not sure why the first error occurred, but I’d like to find an error log if possible so that I can try to troubleshoot whether there is a software and/or hardware error with this reactor and/or pump.

    Hello,
We do not at present log these anywhere other than the PuTTy window. In principle you could get it to write to a file in the Python back end, but this had not been implemented.
Usually what I do is copy-paste or screenshot the putty window as needed.
It sounds based on your description that the output pump (the physical items) is not performing so well. If it is making a bad seal on the tube then indeed it could fail to remove liquid and it can overflow. It could be a manufacturing defect – in the first case I’d try swapping it out with pump 3 or 4 on the board and see if that fixes it.

Okay, is it possible to still regulate OD that way? If I’m remembering correctly, when you switch on OD regulation, the program automatically assigns P1 to inlet and P2 to outlet.
